Decide if you want to mount the blinds inside the window opening (inside mount or on the surface of the wall outside the window opening ( outside mount).

Measure as follows:

Width-

Inside Mount: Check the actual winndow opening horizontal width at least 3 different spots, use the narrowest measurement.

Outside Mount: Use a size wide enough to cover the winndow opening. If a stock size will fit, that will save you money.

Length-

Inside Mount: Measure from the top to the bottom of the opening. Caution: if you have the casement type windows with the protruding latches or cranks, these will catch on the blinds, causing damage. Mount blinds outside the window opening, or use drapes to avoid this problem.

Outside Mount: Cover the window openin, but do not allow the blind to hang below protruding window sills.

CUSTOM SIZES: When ordering custom size blinds, we require that you forward us written or FAXED confirmation within 24 hours of placing your order, otherwise we will not be responsible for the sizes that were ordered.
